It is set very near San Juan. What I liked most was the fact that you have a lot of privacy and the rooms are cool. I really enjoyed my stay there.

Very good staff, friendly and helpful. The place is marvelous, like in the nature but very clean and the room with sea view is cheap and perfect with all accommodation. The motorbike to rent is cheap and there are delicious restaurants 15 min walking with the best sunrise and sunset I've seen on my trip in Philippines

Very nice and affordable cottage, there was a fridge, kitchenette and tableware there and even a BBQ stove. Very cute beach where I enjoyed sunsets, and the sea in front of Diosa houses a lot of marine creatures which could easily be seen by snorkeling. I saw so many clownfish in different colors and I even saw a sea snake and a lion fish when I was doing a morning snorkeling there. Spacious porch where I relaxed every evening when I was there.

The locations was great, on a rocky beach with good snorkeling steps from the room. The family dinner the first night was one of my highlights of staying on the island! The owners (and staff) were fabulous and welcoming, if you are looking for a semi social with a prime location place to stay, you found it!

Such a lovely kind staff and a great location. Rooms were clean and big. Few steps and you are at the sea and beautiful view of the sunset. Friday dinner was a lovely touch.

"A Place Worth Returning To!"

"I've been coming to this place for almost 3 years and the charm of this place is perpetual! I have stayed in all their cottages for different periods but what I loved the most is their Nipa Hut near the beach. The place is pristinely maintained by the staff and the owner, Aurora, is very accommodating! One time I went with my college friends and stayed here. At night, we had a bonfire at their cliff (they have a designated bonfire area) near the beach and made smores!  If you're lucky, the owner might invite you for a Garden party. She cooks the best meals in town! :)"

Room Tip: The Nipa Hut is the best because it's near the beach, has an open-air kitchen where you can cook dinner while watch the sunset

"Beautiful place in tune with nature and concerned with uplifting the community around it."

"I am privileged to have stayed there during both its private and public periods and have tried staying in the native nipa hut and in the concrete yellow cottage. Both cottages have their own kitchens and are excellent, but my personal favorite is the native cottage which offers a great view of the beach and the sea. At night, the sound of the waves lapping on the shore is a pleasant lullaby.
The grounds of Residencia Diosa feel like a natural tropical countryside because they are not manicured/landscaped. Apart from the lawn of the main house and the lighted paths to the different cottages and camp area, the rest of the place teems with plant life and trees that have been left to grow with minimal trimming and pruning.
The place has no restaurant, bar or coffeshop but each cottage has a kitchen with a stove and a refrigerator (even the camp area with basic cottages has a roofed open air kitchen) where my friends and I cooked our meals from fresh meat, fish and vegetables we bought at the market. If you are lucky (like we were) and stay there when the owner is in residence, you could get invited to a meal prepared by the owner and served on the open air tables on the lawn, every Friday. Definitely recommended for those who would like the tropical island experience without the generic resort trimmings."

Room Tip: Choose the native cottage closest to the sea if you like solitude with a beach view (sunsets are glorious!) and surf-lullaby.

"Romantic and peaceful garden by the Sea"

"We rented a hut overlooking the sea behind some trees, in a very well maintained garden. Although the price at first sounded high, because we had a kitchen with gas and fridge, we cooked and saved a lot on food costs. The place has 3 big huts and much camping space. The best was the sunset spot with chairs hanging out over the rocks overlooking the sea with a Dumaugete and Apo island view. Very friendly and helpful staff. Also friendly and well behaved dogs. We came to stay 5 days and we ended up staying 15 days. The only downside was that there's no beach right in front, but the seaside was wonderful to walk on low tide and also the big beach of Coco Grove is walking distance away, so we went there for swimming and snorkeling."

Room Tip: All rooms are spacious and have privacy but the one on the seafront that we stayed was really private.

A Home Away From Home

"The most beautiful, humble and peaceful place to enjoy an amazing summer in Siquijor. Residencia Diosa is one of the simplest yet most comfortable home away from home. You'll be intrigue but the place's story behind its name. I had my visit twice during college and a vacation before taking the board exam. It was a wonderful get away with the most coolest hostess and her husband truly genuine. Plus, I get to chat and enjoy the whole island together with their daughter and a friend of ours Glenn. I will always recommend Residencia Dyosa to anyone if they want to enjoy the Siquijor Island. A bonus, when you stay you get to help their feeding program to the local residence! Enjoy the Island, Choose Residencia Dyosa and you get to help the locals. Check it out and God bless!

Absolutley incredible place

"We have traveled extensively throughout Southeast Asia, over 2 years total, and experienced a lot of very nice places with some very nice hospitable people.
But this is just next level: tremendous hospitality and just amazing all around kindness.
There would not be a day we would not have a pleasant talk with some of the staff, especially the owners. Always happy to help!
The owners throw out FREE friday night barbeques with alot of amazing food and beer from January to May! Just incredible, the food was amazing!
They also help the local community a lot: they do alot of charity and helping out the kids, if I remember correctly they also host some parties for the kids!

And now for the "important" part: the accommodation is incredible. You get a huge room, with tiled floor, fridge, kettle, coat hangers, small table, chairs, and an amazing bathroom, the best I have ever seen, hotels included! Hot water and excellent water pressure, and squeaky clean!

The price is an absolute steal, and the apartment is just in front of the beach!
Don't even get me started on the amazing gardens they have outside, it's just paradise.

Very well taken care of, run by amazing people, what else can you ask for?  -Stuart F"

"Perfect place to stay, reasonable pricing and the housekeeper is very sweet and kind. They treated us like family members, helped us to do the laundry, made a dinner party with amazing international and philippino food. It exceeded my expectations. This property has a perfect and calm location when visiting Siquijor. It is located at the sea side and the accommodation was huge and very clean. We stayed from the beginning to the end at Residencia Diosa because it is very convenient to reach every spot on the island by motorbike. I will definitely come back and stay there again!! Thank you so much for an amazing stay." -Diego Schweizer

"I visited Residencia Diosa this February and I was extremely happy with the accommodation. The bungalows are brand new, very clean, the wifi worked very well, and they are equipped with a fridge (not always a sure thing in other places). I'd like to especially thank Aurora, the owner, who was very helpful to my friend who was sick during his stay. I'd also like to thank her for the plants she gave me as a gift from her garden. This is to everyone who visits Aurora, please give her my warmest regards." -Dagmar Brozkova

"We couldn't have asked for more during our stay. Residencia Diosa hosted our group in beautiful and cosy rooms and provided everything to make us happy. From every little chat with the staff to the great dinner they prepared for us made this stay unique. The location is great and includes a nice seaview. From there it's very easy to get around to famous places by scooter. See you again!" -Kevin Schweizer

"Our big group had a wonderful stay at Residencia Diosa! Beautiful territory and cozy apartments for a reasonable price. Owners were always ready to help and did their best to make our stay amazing. Moreover, they organized dinner party with tasty food and drinks. Thank you!" -Katya Nefed

"Thank you so much Diosa, it has been wonderful staying with the lovely family here. A real home stay that stays true to the natural beauty of the island. Highlights of our stay here include watching the sunrise over the reef from the garden and of course the Friday night dinner party! Great food, drinks and company- our favourite was the squash cake and the mango desert!!!! Thank you" -Holly & Dan

"Amazing homestay that made our stay in Siquijor something to never forget! Traveling is not just going from one place to an other, it is about interaction with humans from different parts of the world, meeting people with same intentions as you.We were lucky to meet Aurora and her 12th year of "Spagetthi kids", celebration on Gaby's birthday in addition to the weekly Friday parties! Aurora and Ross are an amazing couple giving back so much to the community in Siquijor so staying in this homestay is more than just a "holiday." You become a part of their movement giving back to the locals. We had a great time at Residencia Diosa and are hoping to be back in the future. But til then, we can only recommend this place to all other aware travelers with big hearts! This is the place to be!" -Emina Yjjou

"Thanks again Aurora for your hospitality. We had the best time!" -Samuel Werner
